For macOS and Windows
Your meeting audionever leaves your computer.
Thoth Metrics records your online meetings and turns them into text right on your computer. No bot joins your meeting, and you only review the words the model wasn’t sure about.

Can we move the lunch review to Thursday?
- You
Thursday works. I’ll send the updated figures before noon.

Great, then we’ll decide on Thursday.
How it works
Five steps, and you start each one. Nothing happens on its own during your meeting.
1.Record
Start a recording in the app during your meeting. Thoth records your microphone and your computer’s system audio at the same time, separately. No bot joins, and no integration with your meeting app is needed.
2.Transcribe
When the meeting is over, choose Transcribe. An AI model turns the speech into text on your computer. The audio never goes to a server.
3.Fix only the suspect words
Thoth marks the words it may have misheard. You only look at those, and you can listen to the audio where each one appears. The rest of the transcript needs no attention.
4.Approve
Approve the transcript. After approval, the meeting’s recordings are deleted from your device.
5.Analysis
Coming soonThe approved transcript is sent for analysis, and you get the meeting’s productivity scores.
Two tracks, recorded separately
Privacy
Your audio never leaves your computer
Transcription runs entirely on your device. The only meeting content that reaches our server is the transcript you approve, and never the audio.
Stays on your computer
- Your meeting audio
- Transcription, done by the model on your device
- Meeting names, which are often a client or project name
- Your transcript, until you approve it
Sent to our server
- Your email address, for your account
- The transcript you approved, only when you start the analysis, over TLS
No bot joins your meeting
Other participants don’t see a recording bot. Thoth listens to your own computer’s audio.
You stay in control
Transcription doesn’t start on its own during a meeting; you start it. Analysis happens only after you approve the transcript.
Recordings don’t pile up
Recordings are deleted from your device as soon as you approve the transcript.
Data stays in the EU
Our backend runs in a single EU region (Azure, West Europe), and your data stays in that region.
Transcripts are deleted after 30 days
On our server, the transcript text is deleted 30 days after the analysis is complete. The analysis result stays.
Not used to train models
The data sent to the language model for analysis is not used for model training. Logs contain no transcript text.
Features
What Thoth Metrics does for your meetings, from the first recording to the approved transcript.
Recording
Microphone and system audio together
Your voice and the other participants are recorded at the same time, on separate tracks.
Pause and continue
Take a break and keep going. A meeting can have more than one recording.
Choose your microphone
If your microphone disconnects during a recording, Thoth switches to the default microphone and keeps recording.
Crash recovery
If the app crashes, the recording is recovered. At most the last few seconds are lost.
No sleep while recording
Your computer is kept from going to sleep during a recording.
Transcription
On-device transcription
Turkish and English meetings are transcribed on your computer.
Transcription queue
Transcribe several meetings one after another while the queue runs in the background.
You and Others
The transcript is split into your speech and everyone else’s, so you can see how much you talked.
Works without headphones
Sound leaking from your speakers into your microphone (echo) is cleaned from the transcript.
Model management
Download and manage the transcription model from inside the app.
Review
Suspect words
Words the model may have misheard are marked. Correct them, and listen to the audio where each one appears.
Approval
Approve the transcript, and the meeting’s recordings are deleted from your device.
Meeting names
Give your meetings a name. Names stay on your computer.
Everyday use
Waiting on you
The home screen lists the meetings that need an action from you.
Default language
Set the language your meetings are usually in.
Light and dark theme
Use the app in light or dark mode.
Productivity analysis
Coming soonOnce you approve a transcript, Thoth Metrics will turn it into several productivity scores for the meeting.
- An AI model only turns the approved transcript into structured data.
- An algorithm we wrote calculates the scores. It gives the same result for the same transcript every time.
- There are several scores and no single overall score.
- Each meeting gets one analysis, and the approved transcript doesn’t change.
Approved transcript
Only after you approve it
Structured data
Created by an AI model
Algorithm
Same result every time
Productivity scores
Several scores, no overall score
This is a concept. Productivity analysis isn’t in the app yet.
Frequently asked questions
No. Thoth doesn’t join your meeting, and other participants don’t see a recording bot. It records your microphone and your computer’s system audio, so no integration with your meeting app is needed.
Nowhere. Recordings stay on your computer and are transcribed there with the open-source Whisper model (whisper.cpp), using your GPU when available (Metal on Mac, Vulkan on Windows).
Recordings are deleted when you approve the transcript. Before that, you can delete the whole meeting at any time.
No. Without headphones, sound from your speakers leaks into your microphone. Thoth cleans this echo from the transcript.
Turkish and English. You can set a default language for your meetings in the app.
No. The transcript has two sides: You, which is your microphone, and Others, which is everyone else in the meeting as a single side. Thoth doesn’t identify individual speakers.
Yes, Thoth requires an internet connection while in use; your account is verified over this connection. Your audio and transcript still don’t leave your computer; only the transcript you approve is sent, when you start the analysis.
Yes. You create an account with your email address. Email verification and password reset are included.
Our backend runs in a single EU region (Azure, West Europe), and your data stays in that region. On our server, the transcript text is deleted 30 days after the analysis is complete; the analysis result stays.
If you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Database backups are kept for 7 to 14 days. Logs contain no transcript text or other personal content.
Accuracy depends on your computer and on the audio quality. That’s why Thoth marks suspect words: words the model may have misheard. You review only those, and you can listen to the audio where each one appears.
